It's been many years since I used toast, since I purchased a Primera Bravo duplicator/printer.  But the Bravo has seen better days and is "out of order".
I relaunched my old version of toast 5.2 but fails to burn DVD's on my G5.  Do I need to purchase Toast 10 to burn VIDEO_TS folders in this OS?

I certainly recommend Toast 10 over 5.2. But I thought 5.2 worked in OS X. Doesn't it launch? The process is to use the DVD-Rom data setting, click new disc, add the VIDEO_TS folder, create an empty VIDEO_TS folder (optional) and burn the DVD.

Alternatively there is a freeware application whose name I can't remember that will make a UDF-format disc image with your VIDEO_TS folder that can be burned to DVD using Disk Utility. You'll miss out on all the DVD-authoring and other capabilities of Toast, but if that's all you're trying to do it will meet the need.

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
