I pieced together both still photos and digital video with sound from my camera. did overlays and trimmed and added music to stills. When I preview in Roxio 9, everything played back fine. I burned to DVD and put in th DVD Player and it hangs up when it plays. It only does it when it hits the video/audio clips that are inserted. Anyone have any ideas on what I may need to do differently?

Try doing a Disc Image instead of burning straight off to DVD. Then try mounting the image using disc image loader and see if the issue persists. Once the DVD is authored it generally should not matter if the original source was a still image or a motion video footage. They all get rendered to video frames. BTW what brand of DVD media is being used?

What version do you have? You posted in Creator 2009 but state you have Roxio 9. There are 3 versions/years difference between them
