I have EMC 8 Build 801B16A
I have tried to install the patch to Build 805B30B but it says I have the wrong version for this patch.
What has this patch rectified and how can I get my version to 8.05.
(I hope it may solve quite a few niggles I have with my version).
Thanks. Michael

I get the same trying to upgrade two of my machines (which have separate brand new CD installs)
I have had about 5 crashes so far with EMC 8 but had none with v7. What is going on here?

For now, I guess there is no patch for your version, and it probably is not needed.  The patch is for Build  800B85C.  It clearly states that right on the download site.
Life is good!

Thanks for that link. I see we are STILL waiting for the upgrade!
Hope it comes soon and that it fixes a load of niggles in my "European" version bought from Amazon.co.uk'
Michael.
