When recording from the captured movie converted from VHS to the hard drive, and then to Quick Time , the Quick movie plays back faster than the original (too Quick Time!!). What on earth is happening??

The DVD produced with Toast 10 from a movie converted from VHS to the hard drive plays back the first 10 seconds over and over and over and over..... It is recorded in its totality, because I saw it on Quick Time, ( although it is moving too fast on that media) How do I fix this?

Both of your posts are puzzling. Please describe anything that might help me ponder why this is happening. Which version OS X are you using on what Mac?
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time!!
I am using a G5 10.4.11 and Toast 10 to make the DVD, and of coarse Quick Time on the system for that.

The minimum requirements are a dual-processor G5 or Intel Mac. Is that what you have? Still pondering....

This G5 is Tiger, not Snow Leopard and it has 1 CPU which , I take it means 1 processor.
Ahhhh...
How about a MacBook 10.5.8 with 1 processor?
or.... do I use a lower version of Toast?
or... do I return the software because I cannot use it!

I need to try this on my G5 iMac (single processor) to see if I get that result. My reading of the system requirements is that any Intel Mac should be adequate so the MacBook is okay. If using the MacBook be sure to connect directly to a USB port on the Mac and not through a hub.
