I have a canon scanner that I have been unable to use with Media 8. I have tried everything suggested by helpful folks on this forum without success. Could there be a problem with Cannon and Roxio products or are there others happily capturing away out there?

Good luck!

I'm starting to think there is a problem with Roxio and Canon. I have a CanoScan N650U scanner and it will work with v7.5 but it will not work with v8. I contacted Customer Support, but they don't seen to know why it won't work.

I can understand the frustrations you have with not being able to use your Canon scanners with the software, but my question is why the heck would anyone use anything but the software that came with the scanner, to scan images to a file?

I have an HP 7400C scanner, and it will work with Roxio, but no way would I use Roxio to "capture" my scans. I will use my scanned photos in Photosuite, but I scan them using the HP software.

I have a CanoScan 4200F, and it worked fine with EMC8 (the little I tried with it), but I also, like Bruce, use the software it came with. It has a lot more options for me to work with.
