The requirements suggest:

# For data burning and copy, audio capture and editing: Intel® 1.6 GHz Pentium 4 processor or AMD equivalent, 512 MB RAM for Windows XP and 1GB RAM for Windows Vista and Windows 7.

For video editing and conversion and DVD playback: Intel Pentium 4 2 GHz processor or AMD equivalent and 1GB RAM. Multi-core processor with at least 2GB RAM recommended.

Your processor is faster than 1.6 GHz and also faster than 2GHz, and what's more it is a multi-core processor. I think you can smile.

You have plenty of memory. :) If you plan on doing a lot of video tasks, you may want to consider getting a separate video card.

As Dave has said a separate video card with its own integrated ram is way better for video work than the on board model you have, any type will work OK for you

and im not going to go in to specifics but ATI or Nvidia all work well

just a thought for later on if you get into video work more,
