I bought versions 9,10, c2009, & most recently C2010 Pro.  Uninstalled all but latter.  Recently Gave 10 to daughter (42 years old, living 500 miles away), who has LOTS of G2P (I think that is the file format) files from cellphone.  She very much wants to burn to DVD from cell phone video.  10 VW seems not to import G2P directly, but does recognize another cellphone format.

Googling reveals that several downloadable utilities for sale claim to convert G2P to formats that VW will import. If there is a shareware or freeware one that really works reliably, tell me about it.

Perhaps the file format is one of these:
.3g2 3GPP2, for CDMA-based phones.
.3gp  3GPP, for GSM-based phones.
.3gpp 3GPP, for GSM-based phones.
.3gp2  3GPP2, for CDMA-based phones.

  Try this free one.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
