I was wondering should I uninstall sonic solutions that came with my computer when I bought it.  I have that on and also install roxio easy creator 8 last week.  Is there any problems having both installed?

The only problems you'll run into is having Sonic DLA and EMC Drag to Disc both installed.  They are packet writing programs that take control of the drive and only 1 can exist on your system at a time or problems can and will happen. More than likely the version of Sonic that was pre-installed is a Lite version anyway and won't do all the things that EMC will.
