What are you calling a volume license?

The EULA says 1 license = 1 PC...

Many programs allow one to install a program on a desktop and a laptop, if they will not be used at the same time...sort of as a convenience.  Is this possible with Roxio?  If not, I encourage them to allow it.

Those are the terms of service for the website.  It doesn't address the software except to say "see the software terms of use".  I did not download the software from the website but purchased it from a store, although I am sure the terms are the same.

If you have the software, you have the EULA. Please read it for yourself. It's called EULA.TXT.

Reading it for yourself will allow you to extract all the nuances and experience all the flavors of the legal language there, although the bottom line is what cdanteek said in post#2
The EULA says 1 license = 1 PC.

I was only SUGGESTING that Roxio rethink their license, since many software companies now allow placing on a laptop and a desktop as long as both are not being used at the same time.  I know Roxio only allows one PC per license.  But thank you for the clarification.

Understood, now. I thought "Is this possible with Roxio?" was a reference to what the Roxio EULA allows right now. Please excuse my misunderstanding.

If you want to ask if Roxio can do this in the future, you'd have to ask them at Roxio.com. We're all users here and don't make company policy.

Brendon

Well, overlooking the fact you are posting to a thread that has been inactive for 6 months, it actually SAID that in the 'terms and conditions' you agreed to when you installed it first
