Greetings! I am using Easy Media Creator to burn DVDs of my home movies. I am capturing the video clips from my Sony DV as mpeg, and it seems to be going fine. When I view a burned disc, there are spots in the playback where the video hangs slightly and pixellates. I tried burning another disc from the same MyDVD project, and the pixellating happened again, but in different places. Any ideas on how to get a "smoother" burn?

Thanx,

1) Use Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim quality discs.
2) Burn to an image file or folders set first (options in the burn dialog box). After that encodes, COPY the ISO file or the folder set to a DVD using Video Copy and convert. Many times computers are not able to keep up with encoding and burning at the same time especially if there are other things running (such as e-mail, anti-viruses, games, etc.)

In addition to what Steve said, make sure that, in MyDVD, you change the Quality setting to High Quality (HQ). The default is Fit to Disc, which results in a low quality output.
