Could use assistance in using this download - not the smartest and probably way over my head. I cannot get the Photo Story to burn to a CD or DVD. Duh! Any suggestions for dumbo here?

Hang in there...I had the same problem. Once you download you won't see Roxio by itself. It becomes part of the Photo Story 3 application...DVD burning is just one of the choices for saving your new slide show (mine is the last choice).
Be sure that your DVD is in the drive before you go too far. I put mine in at the last minute and it was not recognized. I received messages like there was not a disk in the drive, the disk was the wrong type, etc.
There are two or three screens where you have to choose DVD burn or options. One screen gives you the opportunity to name the disk and the file. The last screen gives you saving options (again) including 'Continue ot burn DVD' or something like that. You will not be done until you see the progress screen or an error message.
Keep trying...it really does work.
