Simple solution. Add the video as a overlay to a colored panel In Edit Video-Advanced. Rotate the video using the placement controls so that the video is upside down. You can then output it to the IPod format and load that.

I will try that, I have spent so much time figuring this out, from being a newbie( not knowing what I was doing) to learning more after many flustrating hours on my computer, to buying a 2010 version, after having no luck with the 2009, one, paying the roxio help, they had no clue, could not help, told me to re-install it, -to no avail., buying another comverter from a competing company, ect. I will try to do as you suggested.Thank you sooo much. It is really bad when a newbie with a iphone tries to use the cinamatic program( the easy way) to make a video and they have no clue when their videos all come in upside down.
by the way, apple said since the videos all go into my computer right side up, and work in my computer right side up, they are only upside down when trying to capture them in roxio, that it is the roxio program, their part is working great.

Just curious, how are you achieving this? Can you list the steps you are taking as well as the application.

I open creator 2010, I click edit video-advanced,click add photo/video, go to my pics, get my video clip, click on it, then, it goes in upside down. Or i tried to go to copy convert, click on add movies, same thing happens.
I also tried to do the thing of ( add overlay) which the guy told me that i would be able to turn the video upside down. I don't know waht version he has, but mine will only let me do creazy waves, ect. not turn the video upside down. any more ideas? how would i go about downloading it from itunes directly?

Perhaps I did not make myself clear. What I'm trying to find out is how are you transferring your video clip from iphone to computer? Are these purchased iTunes clip?

If you have the full retail C2010, it will turn the video around. Don't know what you mean by "Creazy waves"?
"The guy" did not tell you to "add an overlay" but told add the video as an overlay which are completely different operations. REad the post again carefully and follow the instructions.
Another think you can try is to switch the render mode to software from hardware or vice versa. Look under Tool/Options for the switch.
BTW, what are your system specs especially video card?

To see the overlay track, switch to the timeline view and you should see the Overlay track if you scroll down on the track scrollbar.
To find out what video card you have, goto the Device Manager and select Display Adaptor.
Did you try the software/hardware switch I asked you to try?
