Recently purchased Fluenz language software.  The software successfully self installed on my laptop.  It has not successfully installed on my desktop (see equipment profile).  Even using manual installation instructions provided by Fluenz techs, the software did not install correctly.  Here's what happens (tried installing three different times).  The first time installation went no where.  The DVD drive just spun with the pilot light blinking off and on, while the harddrive spun with its pilot light blinking at various times.  The second effort following the software mfg instructions resulted in an installation, but while operating the program a window opened which was the instructions for installing the program.  Could not close down the window.  Had to initiate a hard shutdown.  Fired the computer back up, but got a black screen.  Shut down the computer again.  This time the computer opened, but it took a long time to reach the desktop screen.  The third installed involved the software tech on the phone with him providing step by step instructions.  Again the installation appeared to work.  This time however, the install window appeared while the program kept running in the background with the background screen finally going blank, but the voice on the software continued.  Have removed the software from my computer.  The computer now starts without any problem.

Could it be possible that Creator 2009 is somehow interfering with the installation DVD?  Again, the language software installed correctly without any problems on the laptop computer.  By the way, the laptop computer doesn't have Creator 2009 installed.
