HELP! TIVO TRANSFER Doesn't work

I'm at my wits end. I hope there is someone who can help me. I bought roxio toast titanium 10 software a few months ago primarily because I wanted to transfer tivo recordings to my ipod touch. The last few weeks when I open up tivo transfer, I either don't get any dvr showing or I get my dvr but no shows! I am running on an old mac powerbook G4 with powerpc processor. Can anyone help me figure this out!! Very frustrating. Thanks

Did you update to Toast 10.0.5? If so, go back to an earlier version (preferably 10.0.2. The latest versions of Toast 10 are having some issues with the G4 and G5 Macs because the updates are dealing with OS 10.6 issues and only Intel Macs can run 10.6.

I'm also moving your post to the forum where TiVo users will see it.

I upgraded to 10.0.5 but it gave me problems and then went back to 10.0.4. Should I go even further back?

I would also suggest powering down both your TiVo and network interface (if other that straight Ethernet). Multiple protocols are involved in the process, and one of the devices may be in an undefined state. Just remember to put your TiVo in Standby mode before depriving it of power.
