I have loaded the product on to my computer but can't seem to get past the first screen. I have the system set up and have picked my style and inserted the dvd into my computer but it won't highlight "Next" so I can move on to the next screen. It worked once and I was recording but stopped it as I wanted to transfer something different than I was doing and now I can't get it to work again. Any ideas? Thanks

What DVD did you insert? That would have no effect on V2D.

I put in a blank DVD+R (HP) and couldn't get it to work. I messed with it for a while and all of a sudden it worked. After it had recorded for aobut 10 minutes I stopped it as I wanted to experiment with a menu, etc. I retried it with a new DVD and then again with the one that worked. Any thoughts?

If you are using R media, it is One Shot! You use, it is done!
For learning and experimenting, use RW media! It can be erased and reused.
If you are using Plug & Burn, it must be a BLANK disc and there may be a few moments before it realizes all is good.
