Whenever I compress an .sd2f file (created in Roxio Toast 10) in a .rar archive and then decompress it, the .sd2f file is no longer mountable or accessible in any way. I do not have this problem with .zip. I have tried compressing and decompressing several .sd2f files using different compression and decompression apps, always with the same result. Is there something special I need to do to compress an .sd2f file in a .rar archive?

dont use rar for compress such type files, prpobably you loose resource forks during raring, try use use zip or sit
