I bought maxell double layer DVDs.
I have many big movies, and I need archive them.
I stared the Roxio Toast 10.0.5 application, and if I write in MAC&PC or DVD-ROM(UDF) mod, than the "Writing Lead-Out" faild.
- Snow Leopard 10.6.2 64 bit
- ASUS DRW-1814BLT (Firmware Revision: 1.14)

The bourn is finished, but I come error message.
If I don't click on ok, until spining the disk.

Have you tried Verbatim media? I find that it is the only brand that works for me with double layer burning.

It may be that your disc is fine and that the error relates to communication between the drive, disc and Toast following completion of the burn. Try copying the content of the burned disc back to the Mac. If it copies then all should be good.

Other tips are to check if a firmware update is available for that drive and to get some Verbatim DVD+R DL discs to try. You also can download Toast 10.0.4 to see if the error is related to the Toast 10.0.5 update.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
