In Easy Media Creator 10.  My wife and I have made several slideshow presentations usings photos and videos from our trips.  This time when we burned the presentation to DVD the playback audio hesitates only while DISPLAYING A TEXT ONLY PANEL.  This happens while playing back on my desktop and my DVD player and not on my laptop nor my neighbors DVD player.  I have tried different media (TDK & Philips) and I compile to a .ISO file then burn to the DVD.

Can anyone help

Since it plays on your laptop and your neighbours DVD player then there is nothing wrong with the project. The problem seems to be with the DVD media you are using. Try some quality DVDs such as Verbatims. TDK  & Philips are not considered quality discs.

I would think what you say makes sense, except the presentation stops and hesistates at exactly the same places each time.

If it was the Roxio software it would not play on your desktop or DVD player.....try some Verbatims or Taiyo Yuden

Since the problem happens at the same point every time, I would look at the project at that location.

Exactly what do you mean by " the audio hesitates"? Does this happen at every panel with text?
Is this panel between slides or did you split a video and insert it?

Is it possible that you have some transitions with nothing between them?  If you delete or move an image or video, the transition that was between them needs to be removed or it will appear that there is a jump or hesitation wjen it is played back.  Is is possible to get different performace with different playback devices.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
