I have been able to edit a piece of an hour long show down to 5:20. The video is fine but you hear the audio form the beginning of the show. Why does the editing button allow you to trim video but does not appear to cut out all the audio along with the rest video cuts. This is a Tivo recording of the Sundance Channel Spectacle with Elvis Costello.

It should have matched the audio with the video. I don't know why it didn't. I'm moving your post to the forum where TiVo users gather.
