Everytime I try to burn a dvd i get the error message R6025. Or I get no valid pointer. I have a Gateway 9310 XLwith windows XP Home,sp2, P 4 3.20 GHz 1 GB of ram.

Has this always happened or just started?According to Microsofts website this is a programming error.You can read about it here
Is this a copy of Roxio you got with your machine?If so you'll need to talk to Gateway as it's an OEM verion and there could be something wrong with the program

Do you have other DVD burning software on your computer?
Try burning that DVD to an 'image file' (.iso) instead of the DVD. Then either use Disk Copier or your other DVD burning software to burn the image file to a DVD.
