Anyone know why Toast 7.1.3 "quits unexpectedly" upon opening in 10.5.8? Thanks for any thoughts.
7.1.3 does not open anymore in MacOs 10.5.8

Try trashing the Toast plist and prefs files in your User>Library>Preferences folder and relaunching Toast.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Thanks for that Digital Guru.
I trashed both and emptied trash, and unfortunately it still crashes before opening up, bummer.

Try deleting any Xvid files you have in your Library>Quicktime folder. I am running Snow Leopard and was having the same problem (instant crash when trying to open Toast 7). After I deleted the Xvid file I had Toast 7 opened.
