I just installed Toast 10 on my Mac notebook - 10.5 OS - I checked the box "enable Tivo Transfer" - after installation I clicked on the Extras tab - everything works excep "Tivo Transfer" - I get the following message - "Tivo Transfer could not be opened because it could not be found." Tivo Transfer does not show up as one of the files on Toast 10 before I drag it to applications?? I've uninstalled and installed several times - not change? Has Roxio discontinued this function??

I'm moving this to the forum where TiVo users gather. I should be working for you. I don't have TiVo so I'm of no help. Maybe this article will help.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

It's not discontinued, but there's no need to uninstall and re-install to get to the setup screen where the checkbox to enable it is found. Under the "Help" menu in Toast, you'll find "Toast Setup Assistant" which will take you back through the setup screens. I'd suggest you try that first and see if that helps.
If it's still not showing, go to the folder where the Toast application is located and right click on the Toast application itself. Choose "Show Package Contents" from the contextual menu that appears. Then go into the "Resources" folder that shows in the "Contents" folder. Scroll down and you should see something like "TiVoTransfer.tar.gz" in there. Do not change anything in the package contents for now -- just see if that file is in there. Of course, if running the setup assistant took care of the issue, there's no reason to go into there.

Ditto. Same thing happened to me. I tried the couple things Bob suggested and still nothing. Cannot access my 'Tivo Transfer' Message says it cannot be found.

Do you see anything when you look inside the Package Contents of the application?

It just popped into my head...try double clicking on the Tivotransfer.tar.gz and it worked! I then dragged the 'Tivo Transfer for Popcorn' icon onto my desktop where it seems to be functional.
Thanks, Bob!
