For video work, 14G free is not enough space but I don't believe that would get you the error you recieved. What exactly were you doing when you got this error message?

Yup. Your computer isn't even close to meeting the bare minimum specs for video work.

Have no idea what you are trying to do but I doubt that you will be able to do much video work at all with your system. Your computer system does not meet the EMC 8 requirements:

For DVD, slideshow or video authoring:
1.2 GHz Intel® Pentium III or equivalent; 256 MB RAM
For real-time MPEG-2 capture and burning:
1.6 GHz Intel® Pentium 4 or equivalent

Do you have EMC 8 or EMC 7 or something else? You can not run Version 8 on your machine. You might be able to run V7. See if you can exchange V8 for V7 if you just bought it. If you have something else, please post.

System Requirements
Microsoft Windows XP(service pack 1 or later) or Microsoft Windows 2000 (service pack 4 or later). This product will not work with Windows 95, Windows or Windows ME. If you own Windows 98SE or ME, Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 will work fine. 500 MHz Intel Pentium III or equivalent; 128MB RAM For DVD, slideshow or video authoring:

One other possibility would be to Burn to file (iso), then try Disc Copier to burn that file to disc.

If you have some RW media to try it on, it will save you a little $$$.

I think it's a video card issue.. however, I can't suggest running with Software render since the computer is a P3 850mhz...
