(Sorry for the attitude, guys... I'm just a little bit upset right now ...)
I use Easy Media Creator 7.5 and for the most part I'm happy with it. However, I have a problem; The other day I burned a lot of mp3 files onto a DVD-R (for storage), but when I tried to access the disc later on I was told there was no files on it! Oh, it said that over 4.3 gigs of space was used, and it copied the file folder successfully onto the DVD-R, but any attempt to get to those files doesn't work. I used drag and drop to copy the entire directory, and it appeared to do so successfully, so I don't know what went wrong.
Anyways, I can't re-do the disc since I deleted all those files off my hard drive (stupid of me to do so without checking), and I really need to know if there's any way I can access the disc and it's contents... any suggestions?

You now have learned why D2D is good only for short term storage and why it has been dropped in later versions.
Download ISOBuster or CDRoller to see if the files are recoverable. If so, you will have to buy the program to actually recover the files.
D2D was good when DVD and hard drives were expensive. You may want to invest in a USB connected external hard drive to save those files.
Sorry for the "Ya shuda"
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Yep, looks like the same Drag and Drop I used...
Anyways, any help I can get to recover those files will be greatly appreciated - I'd hate like hell to have to re-do them onto a USB drive... Thanx!

Many thanx for your advice! I tried ISOBuster and it worked great! Of course, there were quite a few damaged files as well, but at least I know which files they are so I can search for and re-rip 'em! Right now I'm storing them on a USB drive - and I will try again to burn them onto a DVD for permanent storage (only this time I'll double-check to make sure the files are still accessible). Anyways, thanx again for steering me in the right direction! I owe you a beer!

When you're ready, if you don't know how to make Data DVD, come back and check in.
You've learned why not to use Drag2Disc, you don't need to learn a second time.
