Getting result code -18771 (Plus v9.0.7 not working)

I've been having trouble with Toast 9 burning Blu-ray material. I have the HD/BD plug-in, and Mac OS X 10.4.7, but it always says that I have a problem with source material (result code -18771) every time I try to burn Blu-ray quality video onto disc. Then I tried upgrading to Toast 9.0.7, but that version always crashed before it even opened. Can anyone either tell me what I'm doing wrong, or guide me to a Toast 9 upgrade that will work on my computer? Thanks.
