I just got a Samsung Blu Ray player I tried using the blu ray plug in for the first time in toast and used a regular DVD blank. I exported the movie in iMovie 09 (latest version) to the media browser to the "HD" setting and got a ".mov" file that was 1.43 GB for a 20 minute movie (this seems suspiciously small). The burn seemed to work successfully in Toast but when I put the disk in the player I got a message saying "check disk" and it would't play. Should I be exporting it differently? I'm using Toast version 10.0.2. Thanks.
Export steps for iMovie '09 to create Toast HD file?

First, update to Toast 10.0.4. If you iMovie project file is in your Movies folder then you can use Toast's media browser (select Movies with the top button) to add the video to the Toast window. Be sure to choose Blu-ray Video as the format in Toast if you want to keep the video in HD. Check for other threads in this forum relating to burning Blu-ray discs.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
