When I launch Tivo Transfer from Toast 10 Extras the Tivo Transfer icon appears briefly on the Dock the disappears. The following error gets logged to /var/log/system.log -
Feb 7 10:37:57 lloyd-imac-3 TiVo Transfer[1820]: com.apple.cocoa.foundation.NSRuntime
Feb 7 10:37:57 lloyd-imac-3 [0x0-0x139139].com.tivo.desktop[1820]: -[NSJavaVirtualMachine initWithClassPath:] FATAL: cannot initialize ObjCJava. Exit

Anyone else have this same error and find a fix? I'm running Toast 10.0.5 on Mac OSX 10.6.2.

I'm moving this to the TiVo for Mac forum in case someone there has seen this issue. You might want to trash your Toast plist and prefs files in your User>Library>Preferences folder and relaunch Toast. You'll need to reactivate the TiVo feature when you get to that window in Toast's setup.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Turns out I didn't have Tivo Transfer installed/enabled. Installing it (using Help-> Setup Assistant) fixed the error. In the process of downloading to 10.0.4, then upgrading to 10.0.5 (to address other problems) I lost my initial Tivo Transfer app.

Perfect! That works.
Complete Solution that worked for me:
1) Download and install the latest Toast Titanium 9 (it was 7.0.9 when I downloaded)
2) Download and install the Snow Leopard version of Tivo Desktop (1.95a) from the Tivo web site (http://www.tivo.com/...ware/index.html)
3) Start Toast Titanium 9
4) Go to menu Help->Setup Assistant
5) Click on "Enable" Tivo Transfers and then finish setup assistant
6) Run Tivo Transfers ... Set the Media Access Key and VOILA!
I'm running Mac OS X (10.6.2 Snow Leopard) on a 2.66 Mac Mini.
