Apparently RecordNow doesn't recognize the format, so, you'll probably need to convert them to .WAV files first, which should be fine since that's a lossless conversion. I would guess that whatever program you use to create your FLAC files should be able to do the conversion.
Hope that helps!

I'm not sure what's going on here.
Roxio's Creator 2010 Home app is the same as Record Now.
If I try and use a Flac file there to make either a DVD-Audio disc or just an Audio cd I get a pop-up saying it's not a good format even though the pop-up says it is.
Gonna try and ask a Roxio person about it.

I don't have RecordNow Music Lab, but have no problems in Roxio Creator 2010 pro SP2 creating Audio CD or Audio DVD from flac files using Music Disc Creator, nor recording to flac using easy audio capture or ripping to flac using rip (all opened from the home page or from their own shortcuts.

I think I've found the problem.
jjzz,I think it's a matter of the files you're using.
When I converted the file originally I converted to Flac,Best Quality.
I went to test again just now and thought about changing the Quality.I changed it to Good and lo and behold the file added.
When I checked it out I think I know what the problem is.
When the quality is set to best then it outputs a file at 48000Hz and 24 bit. This is where Roxio won't accept the file.I'm pretty sure it's because of the 24bit file as we've seen with other things.
When I set it to Good then it sets to CD quality-44100 and 16bit.That file added just fine.
So I've got a feeling that your files are not 16bit and therefore Roxio won't accept them.

I've had similar problems with Roxio not reading 24 bit FLAC but OK with 16 bit FLAC. I just use Audacity to downconvert my 24 bit FLAC before loading into Roxio. It sucks that I have to lose quality because Roxio won't support 24 bit files.

Actually, if you're writing to CD, your music has to be down-sampled to 44.1Ksps and 16 bits anyway. That's the Audio CD standard, you can't change that.
