Not really a Roxio issue because I get the same results if I capture with Windows Movie Maker.
I have an older 2006 PC which was decent at the time. Could it be the video card in the PC that effects it?
As playing on the view screen on input looks great, as it does direct to TV. But even saved as highest quality AVI format files, very noticeable graininess and degradation of video. In some ways looks better capturing with analog.
HP Pavilion 061
ATI Radeon Xpress 200 series
Windows XP Pro SP3
AMD dual core 2.1
Had the issue when I bought PC 3 1/2 years ago, got frustrated and put off converting my videos. Want to get back into it, but if get another PC don't want to have same problem.
Thanks for ideas!
