mac2tivo

in my mac2tivo folder i have about 8 movies but when i go into tivo it says that my mac2tivo folder is empty. it's been sharing music and photo fine
tivo helpline couldn't help telling me to contact roxio
Could anyone please help

I saw this somewhere and I think it correctly;  try quitting Mac2Tivo then deleting the Mac2Tivo preference file named, "com.roxio.Mac2Tivo.plist".  It's in the ~/Library/Preferences folder.  Next restart Mac2Tivo and add (re-add) the items you want to share.  Hope that helps.

If the files in the Mac2Tivo folder are not in the proper format (MPEG-2, and I forgot the other one, but .TIVO is NOT supported) then you will not see the files as available for transfer.

But you can handle sending  back MPEG-2 and .tivo files back to the TiVo without using Mac2TiVo at all -- look at this thread

Mac2TiVo is really for other video formats in my opinion
