Greetings.

I am having problems with getting pictures off of my disks. I am able to get all of them off of the second CD that I burned it to, but on the first CD over half of them say no preview available. There is an .exe that I ran but nothing happened with it. It opens a dos window and then closes. the exe is named Launch_Retrieve.exe. I am unsure as to the version of Roxio, but I think it was 7. If any more information is needed just tell me.

Thanks

Are you able to browse the disc using Windows Explorer and able to extract the required files?

What OS are using now?

The muti disc structure may contain the Names of the files and their details on Disc 1 but the actual files may be elsewhere.

I'll fire up a PC with EMC 7.5 and try one…

Playing a little I found the Roxio Retrieve Program will work in Win7.

But look at the difference between the Window Explorer view of the disc and Retrieve view!

The DSC_0011.jpg is the dividing point between the 2 discs.

Also note the preview picture is cut off just below my chin! (I promise I did not eat the picture laugh.gif )

Also notice that Retrieve indicates the Source Disc and that picture is the one that is split between disc 1 and disc 2. After that one the rest are located on disc 2.

I am using XP. The problem is with how we burnt them I think. When I open it in Hex editor and it has all 0's in the pictures that don't work. Thought it might be a header problem.
