saved movies

when you burn a video, does it save a copy to my computer or do i need to download it separately and if it does save it automatically, where can i find it?

You have ability to save as a disc image and/or Video_TS while you are authoring and burning a DVD.

Here's the screen from MyDVD Express. You see this when you click 'Create DVD'.

It shows the three options - Disc / Folder set / Image - and where the files will be saved if you check the box for that option. You can change the destination for the files if you want.
