I am trying to install EMC7 on a clean install of Vista beta 2. Am getting a message that Napster requires WMP 7 or above and installation is blocked. Is there any way of installing EMC 7 without Napster since it won't recognize WMP 11 in Vista? In a custom install I see no option of not installing Napster

As far as I know it has to be installed and then removed afterwards.

Do you wanna hear me beg you to take me back?

Ask Microsoft how to make it work.  You are testing an alpha product (Vista).

I've not tried 7.5 or 8 with any version of Vista but from I've read in the beta newsgroups, it doesn't fully work.  I've not seen specifics of what does or does not work but do know that by the few posts I did see, I wanted willing to spend time on it yet to find out.
If however, you want to continue trying, you might do better asking your questions in their beta newsgroups.
