I'm looking for a way to burn 24-bit, 96KHz (and eventually, 24-bit, 176 and 192-bit) High Resolution audio files to DVD so that they can be played back on a standard DVD player which supports digital output of the DVD-A format (most do). Will toast 10 allow me to do this?

Toast cannot create a DVD-A disc. However, it has a music DVD feature playable on standard DVD players in which the tracks can be 24 bit 96 khz PCM audio files. Some users have reported problems in the past when using audio tracks at that high quality so I'm uncertain how well it is working. Toast also supports 24 bit 48 khz PCM as well as 16 bit 48 khz PCM along with Dolby Digital at a wide variety of bit rates.
If you purchase Toast as a download from Roxio there is a 30-day refund policy if it doesn't meet your needs. I suggest you give it a try.

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
