I am a recent convert to Toast, and have been trying to burn an HD DVD using the Blu Ray plug in to produce a high quality movie to play on my Samsung Blu Ray disk player.  However, it is not recognizing the DVD and ejects it after reading it for a minute.

What am I doing wrong???

I am burning onto a Verbatim DVD +R DL, I import the movie into the Blu Ray Video option, DVD DL is selected,  Toast seems to run normally, but once I pop it into the player, nothing...

It Might be that the HD format (That's the one that lost out to Blu Ray last year and is really a 'dead' format) is not recognised by the Blu Ray players. They need AVCHD format which Blu Ray Does recognise. FCpro does not provide a Blu Ray compatible format as Macintosh has not red the papers for a while and  knows nothing about Blu Ray!

Check from the player manufacture if the player has any firmware update. And verify if the player supports AVCHD playback as noted by "kaybee"
