I purchased Toast 10.0(530) today- update to Toast 10.06.(560) on mac OS10.6.2 Snow Leopard .... downloaded dmg for update - tried to install and got warning - a newer version is on my mac now. Is Toast 10.0(530) really newer than Toast 10.06.(560)?

After reading some of the posts involving 10.06, I'm thinking I may have bought into a "mess"!

Some others have experienced that. Just trash (or rename) the original Toast folder and then drag in the new folder from the download. The new one includes all the applications within your original Toast 10 Titanium folder.

Thanks for the info. If I remember right there are issues with Toast 10.06.(560) other than this. Are you using this latest updated version? If so, I'd sure like to have your opinion on it.

Everything I've done with Toast 10.0.6 works so far for me. If you are using a G5 Mac it won't show text in its DVD menus but that's not an issue with Intel Macs. One user said the Fit-to-DVD compression isn't working but I just used that to make two DVDs so I don't know what's happening there.

I keep an older version of the Toast 10 application in my applications folder just in case I encounter a problem with the newer version. That came in handy until version 10.0.6 but so far I haven't had a problem.
