I have a macbook pro with snow leopard. I am installing Easy VHS to DVD for the first time and the video works (using an S Cable), but when I continue there is no audio signal. I have the red and white connectors in the right place, and I have downloaded latest updates.

Can anyone help or suggest a fix?

I have the same problem. It installed ok, video worked w/ an S-cable and the other yellow plug.  The audio is as plugged in as I can get it. but no sound.

It may be the camcorder connection, but no idea how to fix.

Connecting a Canon ES75. There is only one AV OUT plug which is one hole and the cable branches out into one yellow and one white (for sound). I also tried the S-Video and then used similar cable which splits the audio into red&White. Neither work.

Using OS X 10.5.8 on a 5G iMac. 2.4ghz Intel Duo.

Any ideas??

Okay, so is no one from Roxio monitoring this thread? I am having the same problem. The video is working just fine but the audio does not play through. However when I go into my Audio set up in System Preferences I can "see" the audio coming in.... just not in the recording window with the software. So this seems to be a real and fairly common problem. From other experiences this could be a "Snow Leopard" problem.....  Roxio.... any fix you can enlighten us with?

So far Roxio has not said the Easy VHS to DVD for Mac is supported in Snow Leopard. The system requirements are OS 10.4 and 10.5. I haven't been able to use mine (no video) since updating.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
