I have a ADSTECH DVDXpressDX2 capture device. When I use "Roxio Media Import" I can select "ADS DVD Xpress DX2" as a video capture device. However, if I actually try to capture video all I end up with is zero length files. Is this device supported or not?
I have NO problem capturing video with the software that came with the device - "CapWiz"
Interested to know what other experiences might be.

Use the software that came with the capture device, if that works. Roxio capture works via firewire but little else.

That's what I'm doing for now. However it kinda sucks thta it is impossible to get an answer from Roxio on whether the device is supported or not.

I have an ADS Instant DVD and the only way I can capture is with Capture Wiz.Roxio doesn't recognize it.Like Bruce says Roxio's pretty picky when it comes to USB devices.
