I have the UPDATE to the latest 10.06 (I think). I bought this version, to do a lot. Well, I 've ordered a Lightscribe" laser recorder drive & I can't figure out how to use it. In Lightscribe mode? ( I have the special CD coming also) But, I have graphics I'd like to burn or Drag into Lightscribe or the Disk Cover RE. I thinks it's a possible resolution or option to usin' up $$ blank labels and ink... less costly..in the long run. I want to use the LightScribe Template application, but that's for Windows only...
Any suggestion. Is there a Disk Cover (non RE) or Full Version? Didn't see an option for that ........
Thanks..
Are you using a mac? if you are, it's easy disc burning from iPhoto and iDVD . or for DVD or CD-Rom data storage ... create a new folder ... drop your files or folders into it and click File/ Burn contents to disc. It's as easy as that. for iLife'09 you need a lot of power in your cpu and at least a leopard operating system. iPhoto'09 has face recognition and iMovie'09 has so many bells and whistles, I haven't begun to explore them all yet!
I'm glad you mentioned that your new program is for windows. That lack of cross platform ability is so frustrating! But mac IS the MOVIE/PHOTO PLATFORM!!! It has been my experience with both Apple and Roxio that they are usually on the leading edge of creative technology, not only for the professionals, but for amateurs like me! Don't bother with disk covers. Just write directly onto the disk with a permanent marker, unless you just want to make covers. ALWAYS check the requirements on machines and programs to see if it is
mac compatible and pay attention to the minimum power and OS (operating system) for either platform.
Mac has a smaller market share and bigger price tag than windows because it is the cadillac of the computer world.
