Hi. Searched (in fact, I'm chatting -unsuccessfully- with a Roxio agent currently) but not found.
Using TiVo Transfer, I successfully transfer TiVo programs to my mini (10.6.2/2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/4GB RAM/Toast 10 Titanium). At first I was able to play the programs back via Toast Video Player and get DD5.1. Now I do not. I get 2-channel sound. If I transfer the recording back to my TiVo, it contains and plays 5.1. During Toast Video Player playback, the stream info says: Dolby Digital 5.1, 48 KHz. If I insert a DVD, Apple DVD Player successfully plays DD 5.1 (and DTS 5.1 if it's there), so I know my connection Mac mini->receiver is good. Selecting Audio in the player menu shows Dolby Digital with a check mark beside it. There's a Audio Channels drop-down that allows me to select Stereo, Left Channel Only, or Right Channel Only. Stereo is selected (cannot deselect it).
Any help would be really appreciated.
I will post this also in the Toast 10 forum.
