I get unknown error 0x33000003 and it is not in any help files.

I got this 3 times.  The third time I ran "test only". and the cd tray opened in under a minute.
Why can't I record a cd?

What type of files are you burning?
Which application within EMC were you using?
Make/model/firmware of your drive?
Brand of medias?
Have you tried saving as a disc image first?
