I had an issue with Roxio Creator DE that came with my Dell Computer with Windows Vista.

Following a KB on here, I did a complete clean uninstall

Then I reinstalled using the Dell Supplied CD.

In order to install, I had to elavate privledges

Everything installed fine and works -- except for one nagging annoying problem I did not previously have!

In order to use the software I need to Right Click and say "Run As Adminstrator" That is the only way it runs!

I cannot believe this is unique to the Dell version of the software. Does anyone know how to fix this so that the software runs for any user on the system without elevated privledges?

From what I can tell, the software does not have a digital signature - is this problem? How did it work before?

Thanks

What version number is your Dell version, Enzo?

Would you run it and go to the top toolbar Help > About this software and tell us the version number shown there, please.
P4 @3.20GHz on Albatron PX-865PE Pro II with 2GB DDR-SDRAM, FX5900XT video, Viewsonic monitors,
BENQ DW1640, in XP Pro and Windows 7

I blame it all on Global Warming / Global Cooling / Global Staying the Same [pick one]
