when I crop a photo I would like to have the photo take the shape of an oval with no white space outside the oval.  there is no shape to do this.  I should I do it?

What would you like to have outside the oval?  Do you have a rectangular monitor or an oval one?  Do you have a printer that prints on oval paper?  What are you really trying to do?

Perhaps something here will help.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
