I have an iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core Duo with the latest version of Snow Leopard. I bought Toast 10 a few days ago. The main part I want to use is CD disc doctor. I has the same message as "brucho". I also installed the program.  When I record a track, it appears fine and shows the wave formation. However when I use the filters to remove scratches and hisses and try to save the filtered track, the program crashes every time. I have tried 'save as' and 'save as a copy',but to no avail. Any suggestions please?

Make sure you're running CD Spin Doctor 6.1.2 that is included with the Toast 10.0.6 update. The suggestion I'm about to give shouldn't be necessary with that version but it was with some earlier versions so give this a try. At the completion of the recording mark one track (doesn't matter what you mark because you can remove it later). Now choose Save a Copy As... and save your recording. Check that the file name you saved now appears at the top of the Spin Doctor window. You should be able to proceed from here.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
