Can't get creator to open

I have been trying to load and now open creator 2010 on my laptop. It has taken quit a bit to get it to install and now that it has it won't open. I have registered and downloaded the updates, that hasn't helped. any suggestions?

Please post your laptop specs.  Do they exceed these requirements?

Did you prepare your laptop using these suggestions?  Turn off your anti-virus and try to Repair the Program using Windows Add or remove programs.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Are you launching Roxio Creator 2010 from the desktop?
Have you tried launching any of the apps from the Start Menu?
