I have spent hours trying to fix this, first with HP, then Light Scribe and how I am trying Roxio. I have an HP C8180 All-In-One with a Light Scribe drive. I got this specifically to use in putting my own artwork on the front of my own album. However, I cannot get any of the programs to recognize my drive. Can anyone tell me what to do. I am only fairly computer literate so please no professional jargon. Thanks
Roxio does not recignize LS drive.

Let's start with some more information. When you say "I cannot get any of the programs to recognize my drive", are you saying you can't read or write using that drive? Windows doesn't recognize the drive? If you put a data disc into the drive, can you look at the contents using Windows Explorer?
Or are you saying that you can't access the "Lightscribe" function of the drive? If that's the case, have you installed the Lightscribe drivers and system software? I believe that has to be installed before any applications will recognize the lightscribe capabilities of your drive. Take a look here.
Hope that helps. If not, answer some of the questions above and we'll go on.
