I have iLife6, including iMovie HD 6. I just installed Toast 7 Titanium.
I want to burn an iMovie project as a Video DVD using Toast (please don't suggest iDVD, it doesn't have the encoding flexibility I want)
The problem I have is that when I drag the iMovie Project file into the Toast Content Area, I get this error message:
"[ProjectFileName] is an unsupported format and cannot be imported"
The help file says
"To add an iMovie HD project, first save your project and quit iMovie. Then add the saved iMovie project file into the Content Area. You do not need to do any special export formatting in iMovie prior to adding the project to Toast."
So I cannot see what I'm doing wrong or why this does not work.
Any Ideas?

It should work. Are you sure you have DVD video set as the format in the Toast Video window? Another way to add the project if it was saved in your Movie folder is to access it through the Toast Media Browser. Then drag it to the video window from there.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

He's a hit and run poster, hasn't even been on to check tsantee's reply
Try tsantee's suggestion and post back if it works or not.

i tried tsantee's suggestion & it still doesn't work. i think the problem may have occurred after i updated from toast 7.0.1 (or whatever exact version) to 7.1

I have iMovie 6.0.2. Toast 7.1 and OS 10.4.7. I am able to drag and drop an iMovie Project file into the Toast DVD layout without problems. You might want to make sure you have all the latest updates. Also, just make sure you are not somehow selecting the wrong file when draggin and dropping into Toast. I think tsantee's suggesion about using the media browser should eliminate that problem.
