I almost have this figured out. Thing is, when I click File - Save Project, - I gave it a name and saved it on a second backup hard drive. When I go to that drive and folder where the production is with all the photos in the same folder, it has a different file extension like .dsms and will not burn to disc using MY DVD. I have found two other productions but the editing dates were up to two days earlier and not the date the 18th yesterday when I finally finished editing the production. Secondly, do I need to create a folder in the "album" section? I hope I'm making sense here.

Windows XP SP2
1.8 GHz AMD Athlon processor
EMC8 with latest updates
80 GB HD
ATI Radeon graphics card with 225 MB's DDR RAM

I don't understand what you mean by "it has a different file extension like .dsms and will not burn to disc using MY DVD". Different from what? When you create a production in videowave and save the project it is supposed to have the extension dmsm. To burn that project to a DVD, you open myDVD and load the dmsm project file as a title.

Just so there is no confusion.... you ADD the .dmsm file as a title. Use the ADD NEW MOVIE option. Not File/Open.

Jerry - Videowave project files do not contain any video. They are only 'to do' lists for the final output. As for the 'album'section, you can create a folder there it you like. Media Manager is more like a relational database. It can keep track of files regardless of where they are physically stored. If you create a folder within 'albums', the Media Manager will not 'move' the files. It just keeps track and knows where they are. You don't HAVE to use the albums section. Some users find it easier to keep track of files that way.
