Using EMC 7 DVD Builder I'm able to burn a slideshow to a DVD+RW disc but when I attempt the same action to a DVD+R disc the progress stops at about 15 minutes into Step 3 of 6 (encoding title 1 of 1). I tried this with 4 different +R discs and the progress stopped at the same point. When I use Disc Copier to burn +RW version of the slideshow I get the message to insert a +RW and it won't recognize the +R that I try to use. In the past, using this burner, I have successfully copied +R to +R discs. Thanks, Bill

Try burning to an ISO file first, then to a +R disc, using Disc Copier. If that doesn't work, try a different brand of media. If that doesn't work, you burner may be dying.

Also, make sure that you have the latest firmware for your burner.
