You have a Sony OEM version, which is a cut down version of the full Roxio Easy Media Creator.

Can we assume it was working ok, then just stopped?.

What O/S do you have?

If XP, did you download any Windows updates lately. for example, did you move from IE6 to Internet Explorer 7 or 8, or taken Windows Media Player up to version 10 or 11, then you have probably broken Creator 7.5.

Did your version come with a Installation CD?

When you are asking for help,  is important to be accurate.  I searched for your computer model to see what numerical version you have and found, first, the model number is wrong, you transposed some of the ID.  Second , when I did find it, hie web site said that that model did not come with a Roxio product designated LE. Sony's seems to be SE.  I also doubt that it was 7 0r 7.5.  I have been wrong before but some things in your post just do  not look right.

So what numerical version and letter designation do you have and where did you get it?

Also be accurate when you are answering ogden's questions.

Really sorry for providing unclear info in last post.  huh.gif

I am using Windows Vista(factory installed) It doesn't come with any installation CD.(But I can restore it with integrated one click option.)

Roxio was working fine before. but from few days its gives error & doesn't initialize.

I am regularly updating my laptop with Windows updates. But never installed or uninstalled any new software recently.

glare.gif Sorry dear, may be my info was not so accurate as it should be, but I am using same model of SONY VAIO (purchased in Aug 2008) which I mentioned there, its model in "CR" series.

Regarding the model of Roxio I posted - when I used it first time, I register it in Roxio website, they send me mail regarding which model of Roxio I am using with that code.

I am also not sure about version because I doesn't have any idea of it.
